# Clear thinking needs a visible method.

Artificially Confident publishes practical analysis of AI, governance and the public decisions shaped by both. The aim is to make a fast-moving subject more useful—not louder.

## What readers can expect

- **Primary sources where they matter.** For news and public-policy pieces, we link to the underlying announcement, report, research or official record whenever it is available.
- **Analysis, not rewrites.** A post should add a clear interpretation, a practical question or a useful distinction beyond repeating a press release.
- **Calibrated claims.** We distinguish what a source says, what can reasonably be inferred, and what remains uncertain. No invented statistics, testimonials, people or expertise.
- **Visible corrections.** If a material factual error is identified, the article will be updated with a note explaining the correction.

## How AI is used

AI may be used to help identify current topics, organise research, develop a draft and create original editorial illustrations. It does not replace source checking or editorial judgement. Articles are reviewed for accuracy, clarity and appropriate sourcing before publication. Where a subject is consequential—such as policing, law, health or public policy—the standard for sourcing and precision is higher.

## What this site covers

The editorial focus is narrow by design: how AI is being used, governed and understood at work and in society. Recurring themes include AI governance, risk and security, public-sector adoption, and significant AI developments that deserve more than a headline.
